The spirit of Ibiza comes to Somerset this summer, as Pikes goes camping at the magical Marston Park for three very intimate and exclusive long weekend lakeside events. Marston Park is a playground for creativity, with grown-up food, drink and entertainment set around a Victorian lake between Frome and Bruton in Somerset.
Just a stone’s throw from Glastonbury, a smooth ride from Bath, a scenic trip from Bristol or an easy two-hour train from central London, these exclusive events at Marston Park make the perfect staycation weekends for our UK friends and family this summer.
Each weekend promises the ultimate in escapism with a sprinkling of Ibiza magic, delicious food, gorgeous music (special guests to be announced soon!), luxury glamping and a glimpse into the wonderful world of Pikes, all framed by an ancient English countryside landscape. Over each of the the three-day events, expect an eclectic programme of performances plus holistic and creative workshops, wellbeing and cultural talks alongside various Pikes-inspired activities.

Let us set the scene for you

You’ll be checking into the rustic-chic glamping tent that becomes your home away from home for the weekend – think pared-back decadence and bohemian luxury. And it’s not just glamping: Marston Park also features two unique bars, a hip restaurant, a cool café and many other cosy, secret and hidden corners to explore during your stay. Serendipitously, there’s even a giant school of pikes thriving in the shimmering lake. It’s a collaboration that was truly meant to be.
Take a refreshing dip in the protected Wild Swimming Pool – Marston Park have very kindly created an area so you don’t have to rub fins with the pikes! Just like any day at Pikes in Ibiza, you never know who you’ll meet by the ‘pool’ at Marston Park. Memories and friends for life are guaranteed.
Gather lakeside over bubbles and cocktails, surrounded by washed-up wooden boats and enveloped in the warmth of flickering candlelight amongst the present-day Pikes extended family, as Dawn, Sunny, Mika and co. decamp to the lake for each event. A 1960s spaceship-inspired pod is where Sunny’s Boudoir and Karaoke pops up each night at Marston Park – there’s no outfit too fancy, no sequin too sparkly and no song you can’t belt out.

The Accommodation

Accommodation is available in 25 fully-furnished luxury bell tents set up as stay / work creative spaces. The ‘Canvas Studios’ (sleep 2-3)  with double beds, woodburning stoves, fire pits, bespoke lighting, crisp linens, fluffy towels and bathrobes, artists easels, a guitar and Bramley bath products.  OR for a larger option (sleeps 2-4) book one of the five ‘Canvas Suites’ with an additional  living area, rustic four poster bed, vanity unit and private lakeside terrace.

Food & drink

Our special guest chef Richard Turner (of Hawksmoor fame) curates dinner beneath the stars: a Bacchanalian banquet with the Pamelas seal of approval. And of course, no Sunday at Pikes – whether in Ibiza or in Somerset – is complete without Sunday lunch, and Richard returns to the alfresco kitchen at Marston Park to whip up another feast of fancy before it’s time to check out in the early evening and return to reality.
Indulge in artisan picnics, flame-grilled bites, and gourmet goodies from local food trucks with a melting pot of local flavours and globally influenced cuisines. Choose from Latin, Greek or Northern Thai street food to a wood-fired pizza oven making rustic sourdough pizza.
The lakeside bar is open daily until late and you can also opt to explore a special nature pairing trail where secret, micro-cocktail bars serve up delicious drinks and juices hidden deep within the natural surrounds of Marston Park.
